Terms of Service

1. Agreement and operator

Decode App is a product by Freedom. Freedom is the brand and trade name used by Kartikay Agarwal, a GST-registered sole proprietor based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (“Freedom”, “Decode”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms form an agreement between you and Kartikay Agarwal, trading as Freedom.

By using Decode, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement.

2. What Decode provides

Decode is analytical software for inspecting options-strategy candidates, including strategy-specific metrics, legs, entry economics, costs, margin, breakevens, payoff shapes, scenarios, evidence, and ranking explanations. Product capabilities may change during development.

3. Prototype limits

The current prototype uses deterministic local fixtures. It does not currently connect to Dhan, submit orders, take payments, or persist market data. Its candidate values are design fixtures, not live opportunities or recommendations. Simulation-only trade review does not execute an order.

5. Accounts and OTP security

Production access may use a mobile number and one-time password. You are responsible for accurate account information and securing your device and session. Never share an OTP. Decode or Freedom support will not ask you to disclose one. The planned SMS format is:

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Decode unlawfully; attempt unauthorized access; interfere with service operation; scrape or overload the service; reverse engineer protected code except where law permits; submit malicious content; impersonate another person; abuse OTP delivery; or use Decode to place or facilitate unlawful transactions.

7. Intellectual property

Decode’s software, design, branding, workflows, visualisations, and original content are owned by Freedom or its licensors and protected by applicable law. These Terms provide a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the product as intended. No other rights are transferred.

8. Third-party services

Future production features may rely on market-data, broker, SMS, hosting, or infrastructure providers. Their separate terms and policies may apply. We do not guarantee the continued availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

9. Availability, suspension, and changes

Decode may be changed, suspended, or discontinued for product, maintenance, security, or legal reasons. We may restrict access when we reasonably believe these Terms were breached or security, legal, or user risk was created. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

10. Disclaimers and limitation

To the extent permitted by law, Decode is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. Kartikay Agarwal, trading as Freedom, and Freedom’s service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, or loss of data, profit, opportunity, or goodwill arising from Decode. Aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid for Decode during the 12 months before the relevant event. These limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or Decode.
